Ford Releases New Ranger Wildtrak X

AUCKLAND – Ford New Zealand is thrilled to announce the arrival of the Ford Ranger Wildtrak X, now at Ford dealerships around the country.
The Ford Ranger line-up continues to bring New Zealand customers greater choice and personalisation, with more opportunity for them to carve their own path with new, more convenient options and model upgrades – now including the arrival of the limited edition Ranger Wildtrak X.

In addition to Ranger’s updates, including FordPass Connect, the ‘X’ Factor for Wildtrak X sees a smart combination of functional features that bring not only a unique rugged appeal, but also enhance Ranger’s already strong off-road capability.
The Wildtrak X comes standard with the popular 157kW and 500Nm innovative Bi-Turbo diesel engine, delivering huge power and torque, combined with a state-of-the-art 10-speed auto transmission.
Ranger Wildtrak X offers more than $7,000 worth of components for only $2,000, including:
Unique 18-inch alloy wheels with +35 offset in tough matte black finish
Fender flares, finished in black, to emphasise the new alloys and give the Wildtrak X an unmistakable on-road presence
Black nudge bar, complete with an LED light bar for improved night-time vision, as a work light or to light up a campsite
A-pillar-mounted snorkel, which allows the Ranger Wildtrak X’s powertrain to breathe better on dusty roads, while reducing the risk of water entering the engine compartment so that owners can make the most of the Ranger’s best-in-class 800mm water wading capability

Limited to just 150 vehicles in New Zealand, recommended Retail Price (RRP) for the Ford Ranger Wildtrak X is $75,490.
